Gabrielle is our second child. She is very smart but has an attention span of about 5 minutes, although she is improving now that she has to do school all the time.…. She is in first grade and loves to read and color. Gabrielle will read for hours at a time, during school, before school, after school, and all the time. She also loves hands-on activities.

Gabrielle also loves playing with her siblings. She has that motherly love, always giving hugs and kisses and trying to make sure everyone is okay. She thinks she's the little princess, though, and the boys are often to subject to her whims. Jeremiah, especially, will follow her around and do whatever she says. He really looks up to her.

She also loves her parents. She especially loves to dress up and dance around in front of her daddy, waiting for him to tell her that she’s beautiful. And she loves helping her mommy. She even says she wants to be just like her mommy when she grows up. Gabrielle is always drawing and writing cards to give her parents, telling them how much she loves them. She recently came up with a plan for her Daddy to stay home all the time. She told her Mommy that he just needed to stay out of work alot and then he would be fired. Her Mommy explained that they needed the money that Daddy makes at work so then Gabrielle decided they just needed to get rich so he could stay home and be with them always.

Gabrielle currently wants to be a mommy when she grows up! She also wants to live on a farm. Sometimes she has other ideas, too, like being a veterinarian, teaching, and so forth. But her heart is focused more on being a wife and mother than anything else.

Gabrielle also gave her heart to Jesus when she was 3 1/2 years old. She follows Matthew in just about everything so he often teaches her about living for Jesus in both his words and his life. She recently began reading the Bible for herself.
